The wheel and rim repair process

First, our wheel repair specialist tests the wheel to ensure it’s true center, it’s tolerance and level of stress to ensure the rim will balance to the rim’s original specifications. |
| Some wheels may be off-round and will have to undergo a straightening and re-lathing process to ensure we obtain a truly centric balance and minimize or eliminate any vibrations an uneven rim may give you. This is truly the first invasive step on the wheel repair. |

The next step on an aluminum wheel repair is to electronically prepare the surface of the wheel to correct any existing damage or blemishes, in order to properly restore the original look and finish of the wheels. |

We follow the car wheel repair with a surface preparation of the wheel through selective machining, grit blasting and cleaning with our state of the art computerized equipment. Is an very important stage in the wheel and rim repair process, as our alloy wheel repair specialists get rid of dents, scratches and other imperfections leaving the rim with a very smooth surface, ready for the colorizing and/or refinishing process. |

Colorizing is done on by our Certified Paint Technicians, by matching the car manufacture original color codes and specifications through a computerized Mixing Lab for Performance Coatings. |

Refinishing is the final step in the process. Here machined wheels are polished to match manufacturing specs and all wheels receive a protective clear coating. |
The end result is a Remanufactured, Insurance-Ready quality, OEM Wheel in an AS NEW CONDITION, just like when the car, truck or SUV rolled off the assembly line.
